I am able to mount a cifs on my asus ac88u but what do I have to do to be able to select the mount from the time machine setup page?
The reason I am trying this:
I like the built in encryption time machine, but man my usb writes are at best 5mb/s and that is only for a burst. If i mount the cifs thats hosted on a computer, would my performance increase as the usb controller is out of the picture, or its still cpu bound by the ac88u?
