You can prevent that by setting your MAC filter mode to "Accept." Then the MAC has to be present and accounted for before they can use the WiFi at all. Has the beneficial side effect of booting off Apple devices that use random MACs every time they connect.

well I tried to test this as you say and I tested on my own router and then it turned off wan so I could not remote control from my own router, I did not report that bug when I did not think about it

well it seems that asus has fixed it with asus about being able to fix with mac filter when I tested on mine for safety and it went so I have fixed it now on my sister's router, I really hope it helps so he does not find another bypass

i tested mac filter and it shut down everyone's wifi with these settings on all mac addresses and have to disable it completely, it's probably a bug on the router anyway
