Hi
i hope this is the correct forum to ask this question
i'm not a computer newby but about networking i have few knowledges
I run a win xp sp3 machine
a lot of internet sites migrates to use TLS 1.2 ...win xp supports only tls 1.0
Firefox has a built in tls 1.2 suppport...Chrome instead asks to win xp to manage tlls connections,so it fails against sites using tls 1.2 protocol
The question is :
can a local proxy bypass the problem ?
i'.e. setup a local small proxy able to transfer data with tls 1.2 protocol and passing data to the same machine applications using http only
i'm very confused about and i need help to clarify what to do..
thanks in advance
