I recently upgraded from older Zyxel PLA401 adapters to new TRENDnet Powerline 1200 AV2 adapters and have seen tremendous increase in speed....and in line quality issues. The indicator lights bounce from red to green in most every outlet, but worst in the furthest room (to be expected). I have done extensive testing with unplugging just about everything in my house or turning off certain outlets (a particular switch outlet was causing me a lot of trouble), but I still cannot seem to get a consistent connection. The older adapters cannot stream high quality content (or even give me full bandwidth to my internet provider), but now the signal is intermittent at best. This is really getting troublesome when I am trying to stream content from one end of the house to the other. Any ideas on what I could do to get a better overall connection at larger distances?

My possible thoughts are:
- Buying RFI/EMI filter like this one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I9B1KQ/?tag=snbforums-20)
- Making sure that no powerstrip is plugged directly into the adapter (I know there is some testing to show that this does not affect the performance, but I was just suggesting it)
- Worst Case - Moving my media server closer to the TV room
