TRENDnet and Router Limits have announced a partnership that adds the latter company's web filtering and screen time management tools to a new TRENDnet SMB router.

The TEW-829DRU AC3000 Tri-Band Wireless Gigabit Multi-WAN VPN SMB Router, scheduled for release in Q2 2018, will get Router Limits' web content filtering, browser history tracking and internet time management feature set.

The new router also features MU-MIMO, beamforming, dual WAN ports with load balancing/ & fail-over, VLAN support and SSL, IPsec, and PPTP VPN.

Router Limits is primarily known as a family-focused product designed to help manage online activity at home.
