This website needs an instruction set link beside the program so it provides more clarification. so congaluted with different types of setups. every question I've ever had is about using open vpn with most of these programs. need to show two scenarios in instruction set. one with and one without vpn. Way less questions will be asked about how it works if it showed us both types of setups.

I dont think having QoS enabled while using a VPN is great idea....with QoS & VPN enabled, I believe all traffic is lump into 1 category or it messes with upload/download traffic. Maybe this has been fixed with recent firmwares but I don't use VPN any longer.

RT-AC86U with 386.3_2 firmware. I don't have QoS enabled. I just realized devices that are routed to VPN via VPN Director both upload and download are shown in the Upload Bandwidth meter on the left only. Is this normal?

seems to work when i put it to 85 percent of internet provider speeds. then used vpn after setup. The vpn gets 20 mbs max without all of this anyways. It still runs all same speed and is very stable. I just don't know if it is the proper way to set it up. based off vpn (20mbs) or without vpn (75 mbs) what would I run the 85 percent math off. 20 mbs = to 17 mbs, and 75 = to 63.75.
