The router RT-AX88U with Merlin 386.1.2, the router does his work, with imesh RT-AX58U.
The problem is this:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
ubi:rootfs_ubifs 71104 70792 312 100% /
devtmpfs 451680 0 451680 0% /dev
tmpfs 451792 420 451372 0% /var
tmpfs 451792 1780 450012 0% /tmp/mnt
mtd:bootfs 5248 4244 1004 81% /bootfs
mtd:data 8192 580 7612 7% /data
tmpfs 451792 1780 450012 0% /tmp/mnt

/dev/sdb1 1953512444 449485724 1504026720 23% /tmp/mnt/Toshiba_ext

ubi:rootfs_ubifs is for 100% filled, is there a possibilility to change this, how is this happened?
when i have the orginal the latest from asus is the ubi filled about 96%, is this something wrong in the router?

There's nothing wrong. ubi:rootfs_ubifs is operating system in a read-only partition. It's normal that's it's ~100% because you can't write to it (just like a CDROM appears to be 100% full).

thanks for the reply, i have a RT-AX58U, with the same version, when it is readonly, on this system it's not 100%:
adminklaas@RT-AX58U-8410:/tmp/home/root# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
ubi:rootfs_ubifs 80164 70388 9776 88% /
devtmpfs 256028 0 256028 0% /dev
tmpfs 256132 576 255556 0% /var
tmpfs 256132 628 255504 0% /tmp/mnt
ubi1:data 4584 64 4252 1% /data
tmpfs 256132 628 255504 0% /tmp/mnt
tmpfs 256132 628 255504 0% /tmp
/dev/mtdblock9 48128 1392 46736 3% /jffs

the filesystem is bigger on this router.

There will be some variation in allocated and used size depending on the router model and firmware version. But my point was that there's nothing wrong because the filesystem is read-only and doesn't change when the router's in use.

thanks for you reply,

i thougt it's a techncal problem, i had a technical mail wrote to asus, they wrote to restore stockfirmware on the router and then reset the router to factory default and when it is the same to send the router back to change it for an other/newer router.

That's the standard reply from Asus for any reported problem. So are you actually experiencing a problem?

I have a different model of Asus router to you but the root filesystem is similarly full:
Rich (BB code):
admin@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/root 21760 21760 0 100% /
devtmpfs 127716 0 127716 0% /dev
tmpfs 127824 5376 122448 5% /tmp
/dev/mtdblock4 64256 7512 56744 12% /jffs
/dev/sda1 15401436 2449256 12169820 17% /tmp/mnt/VERBATIM

admin@RT-AC68U:/tmp/home/root# touch /xxxxx
touch: /xxxxx: Read-only file system

thanks ColinTaylor for you reply.
I hope there is someone who have an RT-AX88U and want to look with SSH and let me know how great ubi:rootfs_ubifs filesystems is?
The router works great and does his work.
An other problem i have is that i have 2 squeezeboxradio, the wifi doesn't work, it works about 10 minuts and then the connection disapeared.
The router RT-AC87U, as mediacenter does his works for the radio's with a utp cable.

Ax88u here and mine too is 100%, no problems and router running solid.

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
ubi:rootfs_ubifs 71104 70792 312 100% /
Are your sizes the same?

Yes, I scrolled back and they are. I'd say normal behaviour unless someone wants to correct me :)
