New Around Here
Hi, currently have an AX88U running the latest firmware - I'm currently having this issue:

None of my wireless device (both 2.4/5) will connect to my router unless I assign a static IP to the device. When I try to connect, it says the device is attempting to obtain an IP address, but it won't connect - here's the log file:

Code:
Jan 23 23:19:33 wlceventd: wlceventd_proc_event(427): eth7: Auth xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0)
Jan 23 23:19:33 wlceventd: wlceventd_proc_event(455): eth7: Assoc xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx, status: 0, reason: d11 RC reserved (0)
Jan 23 23:20:10 wlceventd: wlceventd_proc_event(392): eth7: Deauth_ind xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx, status: 0, reason: Deauthenticated because sending station is leaving (or has left) IBSS or ESS (3)

The only way to solve the issue temporarily is to by rebooting the router, then all my devices will connect just fine with DHCP, but the problem will resume after a day or two.

I have changed my router IP address - does this contribute to the problem?

I was able to pinpoint the issue, apparently something has to do with my PPTP VPN (I use a PPTP VPN as a remote for wake on lan over a different network):

Code:

Jan 27 16:18:21 pptp[30970]: Modem hangup
Jan 27 16:18:23 pptp[30986]: Connection terminated.

Some research later seems to suggest that this is not a DHCP issue, rather it has something to do with WiFi...

I have a bunch of Android phones and laptops that will disconnect immediately (almost instantaneously) after connecting to the network.
