Unable to open transmission port on Asuswrt-Merlin

Hi everyone,

I have an RT-AC68R running latset Asuswrt-Merlin.
I installed transmission on my router but I am unable to get its port opened.

My setup is:
Modem (bridge mode) --> RT-AC68R (transmission here) --> Computer

I have added the following rules to my firewall:
iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport <myport> -j ACCEPT
iptables -I INPUT -p udp --dport <myport> -j ACCEPT

But this did not help.

Any advice?

If you're using the Transmission Web Interface to check that the port is opened, I've found that it doesn't always show this correctly. You can test the port using the https://ipleak.net Torrent Address Detection tool to help troubleshoot.
