unable to save avatar?

Hiya...tried to spiff up my profile with a picture.

I tried both the browse local computer and grab pic from the net, neither worked.

I made my pic 100X100, tried jpg and gif...kept saying "unable to safe file" or something like that.

Needs to be 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

yikes, would be nice if the instructions were changed...:

"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller). "

Will try the smaller size...

I dropped it to 80X80 4K and it still won't accept it. JPG

OK.... I see half the problem. I was trying to add a profile picture.

I did see what you were saying for the add an avatar section.

Either way, I am unable to add a picture for my profile *OR* add an avatar picture.

Just isn't working.

Next idea?

nope, have what you have, a thing saying it is my avatar, but obviously isn't...seems mine and yours are the same now...missing...didn't get the unable to save image error however

Fixed. And what a lovely avatar you have!

Sorry for the problem.

Anyone else who has tried to create/save/change their avatar since around October can now do so!

Same goes for signature pix and profile pix.
