Unable to use port forward on the 2.5 Gbps WAN port

Hello I am new to this community and a new asus router user, however I have some knowledge. However not sure where to log my bug issue and it might be a hardware restraint. Anyway with my RT-AX86U Pro when connecting to the 2.5 port over WAN, I cannot properly use port forwarding with merlin firmware or stock. With the regular wan port I was able to successfully without a problem. again if I'm barking up the wrong tree please advise. thank you!

It may help others if you post the exact firmware versions you have tried. And post screen captures of your 2.5GB port $ WAN & Port Forward settings just in case there is an issue with those settings.
