Unexpected wired connection (RT-AC86U)

New Around Here
I have a ASUS RT-AC86U with the latest firmware. (3.0.0.4.384_10007)

The coaxial cable is going into my own modem, and the modem is connected to the router with a single CAT5 cable. Nothing else is plugged into the router. All connections are wireless.

I have a guest wifi network that my neighbor uses.

When I look at connected clients it shows a "Wired" connection. The device shows as a Mac named "Tommys-Mac-Pro". I have no idea where it's getting this connection from. I have two Macs and both are connected wirelessly.

Any ideas? I'm tempted to block it to see what happens but thought I'd check here first.

Many Thanks!

Edit:
I see that they released a new firmware and installed that. (3.0.0.4.384_20308)
Currently, the device in question is not showing up but I don't know if it's due to the firmware or if it's just offline. I just figured out that if I connect my iPhone to the guest network that I have setup that it shows as a "Wired" connection but if I connect to my own network, on the same router, that it shows as "Wireless". That seems odd. Maybe the Tommys-Mac-Pro connection is my neighbor using the guest network. Seems like a router bug.

The network map has never been accurate. Many people see their some fraction of their wireless devices as being connected to the router by ethernet. Its rather fascinating that ASUS has not been able to fix for as long as the network map has been available. If you want to see who is on your wireless network go to the System Log section and look at the Wireless Log.

Same happens on mine as well as on previously owned Netgear X4S (R7800). I would not worry about wired vs. wireless, but make sure all connected devices in list are expected to be there.

Just wanted to chime, this problem exist on all Asus platform which support network map.

Basically I have been analyzing and from what I have learned is when devices is actively connected it classify correctly including wireless, however minute you disconnect every device appear in network map as if it was wired.
