Yes, you can UPDATE the scripts anytime (e.g. via vi or nano editor) and you can EXECUTE the scripts anytime manually (./script-name).

But: As the startup-scripts are meant to set things AT STARTUP you might not get the results you want.

Please give an example of what you are trying to accomplish.

I need to add another rule to the script: "nat-start".
Then update the system without a reboot of the router.
