Updates not working - no error message

I've been doing it with Chrome, but I'll try it with Edge. It's pretty vanilla. I do have a browser based VPN (PIA), but it is turned off when I do this.
 
I do all my development with Chrome, so Chrome should be fine, unless you have conflicting extensions.
 
Thanks! That solved the problem. Going from .65 to .68 didn't work (but did get a progress bar). Going from 65 -> 66 -> 67 -> 68 worked fine.
