Running Asuswrt-Merlin version 178.15 I find that my usb jump drives will stop being mounted.

Not much info in the log when this happens:

(I removed the mac address and IP's)
Aug 29 18:46:12 dnsmasq-dhcp[629]: DHCPACK(br0)
Aug 29 18:47:09 sd-idle-2.6[451]: spinning down /dev/sdb
Aug 29 18:48:58 dnsmasq-dhcp[629]: DHCPINFORM(br0)
Aug 29 18:48:58 dnsmasq-dhcp[629]: DHCPACK(br0)
Aug 29 18:49:40 sd-idle-2.6[451]: spinning down /dev/sda

I currently dont have the ftp on (I was going to turn it on when I noticed that they are not mounted).

Any thoughts?

Try setting disk idling time to "0" under Tools -> Other Settings, and see if it helps.

I thought I had set the default to "0", but I'll double-check it.

EDIT: Looks like I had it set for 15 mins instead of 0, I'll change it in the next version.

In the mean time people without mechanical HDDs should set this to "0". Or if you have a mix of flash and HDDs, make sure to exclude your flash drives.
