I searched but couldn't find anything.
Usually when I reboot my upstairs RT-AC86U the Apple TV (basement) connects to 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi...Asus Smart Connect rules... when I reboot the Apple TV it always connects to the much faster 5GHz band....

Now I was thinking why don't I simple connect it to my 5Ghz Guest Wifi?
Works great.
Any reason why the Guest Network shouldn't be used for stationary clients?

Wouldn't be easier to add Apple tv mac address in 2.4 Ghz block list, forcing it to associate with 5 Ghz. You can also use guest no harm with it.

How do add to block list? Let me check....

I used the Wireless - Wireless MAC Filter to reject the Apple TV MAC Address on 2.4Ghz...
That worked, thank you.
