Vpn Configuration For RT-AC68U

Good evening. If anyone has detailed instructions on setting up open vpn on the rt-ac68u could you kindly post it here. I have tried to do it following their instructions and using their default settings. It connects ok but i cant access anthing remotely without entering an ip address for the machine i want to connect to. I also cant access the internet while im connected.

From what i am understanding it says to set up both and then install client on the computer i will be using to access the network remotely.
