Hi All.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but i haven't been able to find an answer.
I use an Android TV box, that i would like for it to be connected to a VPN on the router on an as needed basis.
(this is to watch overseas TV)

could possibly initiate this via a script, that SSHs into the router from Windows or Android.

Is there any way to connect only device to the VPN?

Thanks

You could assign your Android tv box a ip under LAN/DHCP-Server (manually setting it) so it gets the same ip from your router all the time.
Then set up your vpn client. Redirect Internet traffic: Policy Rules and add the ip there for exampel 192.168.1.50 if thats your tv box ip
All 192.168.1.0/24 0.0.0.0 WAN

TV-Box 192.168.1.50 0.0.0.0 VPN

This is exactly how I isolated my Android TV box to the VPN. Also note you can do it in reverse, putting everything behind the VPN except selected clients.
