1GB cable modem connectionWhat are you using as secondary Internet?
And what's your Primary internet? I'm asking since my setup as primary is Xfinity ISP (modem and Asus router) and my secondary is TMHI (5G Gateway).1GB cable modem connection
It's best to download thru AMTM. However it's best if you enable debug logs and submit it thru Github for further assistance.GT-Ax6000 running 3006.102.4
Primary is 1 GB fiber connection with cable modem based (Spectrum) 1 Gb for secondary.
Add Ons: AMTM 6.0.2 Diversion 5.4.5, SkyNet 7.6.4, Scribe 3.2.1, uiScribe 1.4.5, Unbound 3.25, BackupMon 1.8.22
Sometimes options of the script, specifically manual failover, seem to run to completion there is no change in the configuration. Others run and post the "failover not enabled, See Logs message". I only saw the cron job posted once, and I have no idea what I did to make that happen, as the script hangs. At no time have I had a hot standby, even when I reverse the positions and put the fiber ONT on the secondary port which suggests. I get log postings of "wan connected" occasionally and those events don't kick off the wan-event script.
Could there be a difference in downloading from AMTM or using the command line?
Uncheck the ping box....the readme for the script explicitly states all of the options need to be turned off to allow the script to take over functionality.
Open a GitHub issueHi @Ranger802004 , I’m having issues with the wan-failover script on my RT-AX86U (updated to the latest Merlin firmware). Every now and then I find the script in an “unresponsive” state, apparently without any specific reason. I’m attaching the log (I anonymized it, so please ignore the fake IPs). Along with this, I’m also running several other scripts (spdmerlin, connmon, ntpmerlin, etc.). Can you figure out where the problem is? Thanks a lot!
