Wanting to upgrade firmware

I have noticed there are new firmware upgrades for the RT-AC66U
from Asus.
I'm like four upgrades behind,my question is should i upgrade in steps or can i just go straight to the newest firmware.

No need to upgrade in steps just get the newest and that will work fine. Any older fixes will be in the newest firmware as well.
