FYI. WD DX4000 fan failed causing unit to display FAN FAILURE message and turn itself off due to high temperatures.
Could not find the exact replacement (SUNON part #ME92251V3-000U-G99) But did manage to locate SUNON part #ME92251V2-000U-G99. Mounting and connector are the same. Difference is a slight speed increase that the unit does not appear to mind, though I did have to repower the unit a second time after replacing to clear the fan failure message.
Note: prior to replacing internal fan the DX4000 unit restarted and ran OK with an external house fan blowing in from the front of unit until. Ran that way for several days until replacement fan was recieved.
