what do the underscore releases indicate ?

for merlin asuswrt release firmwares, i noticed the same base version has more than one release indicated by _#

such as "386.3_0", "386.3_2", the higher index is newer, just wondering if they're considered major changes.

_# are minor incremental releases. Bug fixes, security updates, etc.
