What does _cferom mean in Merlin firmware RT-AC86U

Hi. _cferom looks like a bootloader reflash?

I have a Chinese RT-AC86U which has a setup screen in Chinese, interface languages Chinesa and English only, region settings unlocked, TX power adjustable.

Will flashing with RT-AC86U_386.3_2_cferom_ubi.w change any of above? I would like to get rid of Chinese language as default, but would like to not lose TX power adjustment and region settings.

Flashing Merlin will not change any of the language or region settings.
