I actually have three of them that are no longer in service.
What interesting things can I do with them?

Install DD-WRT on them and learn new things.

Donate? Those are ancient now.
Connect the printer to it.
Use it as a wireless repeater.
These still have value - Linksys still sells the WRT54GL new...
Many find their way into industrial applications where they're tightly integrated into vertical solutions.
Before tossing them into the eWaste/recycle bin, I would suggest putting them on eBay.
Thanks. The printer is connected to the router that replaced these.
If its a G printer use this G router then instead, so its not slow down the new one witch are a N/AC router, yes?
On ebay and craigslist they are not worth much: ~$10.
Barely worth the trouble to sell them but I understand that if it puts them into the hands of someone who could use them, that's a good thing.
Is it a GL or a G - and what version?
Might be interested...
All three are WRT54GL v1.1
They're worth at least $25 a piece...
I'd list them on eBay with a BIN of $25, payer pays shipping..
