what's all the RAM for can I use it better ?

ok so on the recent routers there is 256 meg ram.

Is there a better way to configure the router as most of the ram sits unused:
Total 234.18 MB
Free 177.18 MB
Buffers 10.93 MB

this is after a week of using the router with 12 clients, doing streaming, vpn (on the client) browsing etc...
