Hey guys, I'm new here!
I've tried to find answers here but seems that most of users has the 68U, but in my country they are way expensive (in direct-money conversion would be around U$480).
Well, anyway, that isn't the point!
The system: I have the 51U and with IP-TV enabled, SAMBA file sharing enabled with a 320GB HDD hooked up.
1) First of all, when transferring files thru SAMBA I cannot pass the 2.0 MB/s. That's too slow, isn't? Even counting the USB 2.0 connection!
I´ve tried everything without success! Any hint? The HDD is almost empty ( 95% free), so fragmentation would not be excuse.
2) Second, my RAM is always working at 90% in use, even when nothing heavy is running. Would this be a symptom of bottle-necked performance?
3) I already knew about the limitations of the 10/100 MBIT WAN port when I bought the router. But I have a 100MB/s internet that obviously is a unreachable speed. Would be a dumb thing use the ISP router with 2 LAN ports and then in the 51AC use the two-wan setup to "balance" the speed thru 2 10/100 ports and maybe get an extra speed?
