Where to connect wired router to switch

My smart switch arrived, and I have my devices connected to it.
I now need to connect the switch to my wired route / firewall, but which port on the switch
do I connect my wired router / firewall to.
Do I need to use one of the switches uplinks, or will any port on the switch be ok to use..
My router is opnsense based, and in turn connects to the internet via a cable to a wifi bridge
to my mobile phone, I do not have a wired connection to the outside world.

D-Link 1210 24 port switch. it has 4 1gb sfp ports with 4 standard 1gb rj45 ports also available as uplinks, can not use both sfp and rj45 ports at the same time, which is fine for me.
