Which is a better option for performance? reliability? for Raid 1 + 0?

I have a choice of using the motherboard raid

MOB usually the best option you have there. But of course using the PCI-E route as a budget option.

i'm using ssd drive as my system drive, that shouldn't make difference on building the raid on the motherboard? Vs on the pci express
