Which router as bridge - TP-Link WR1043ND or Netgear 3500L?

New Around Here
Hi,

I am currently using a Netgear 3500L as my main router connected to the internet, I am also using a TP-Link WR1043ND in wireless client bridge mode serving a network connection to my media devices via ethernet.

I am buying an Asus RT-N66U to replace the 3500L but am wondering if I would be better off re-purposing the 3500L as the bridge router for the media devices or keep the WR1043ND in place. Which do you think will perform better?

Thanks

Russ

Maybe the fact that the 3500L and N66U are Broadcom and the TP-Link is Atheros may lead to better performance with both Broadcom being used?
