WHS drivers for Asus P5KC Mainboard

Hiya all,

I'm building a DIY Nas, it will be used as Media Streamer / Media Ripper & Encoder, along with backing up other machines connected to the network.

The problem i'm having is finding suitable WHS drivers for my Asus P5KC mainboard / Intel E6600 CPU. I notice on the Asus site, there are 2003 server drivers for other boards in the p5 series.

Can anyone shed some light on this, or is it a case of finding another suitable board / CPU for my project?

I know Intel has WHS drivers for the second installation stage. XP drivers will also work on WHS most of the time. Wegotserved has the best section on installation, and a how-to on slipstreaming. Hard forum can be a great resource as well, look under data storage. I have found the best systems are based on server mobo's with 2003 drivers.

I've pretty much worked it out for myself, i went via this link......

And d/l the driver, which then installed the correct chip-set drivers. WHS took care of the LAN via online updates.

All i need to find now is sound, and ATI drivers for my video card.
