I'm wondering why Asus write the code for the routers not completely new.
I think 40 Megabyte code is not so much. And some modules are only copy and paste.
I am not a programmer, but when i'm reading that modules are 5 Years or older. I think this is not a good thing.
I think some security could be fixed with latest code from other modules in the firmware.
And the firmware would be more stable.
Or I have a mistake in reasoning.
But all router manufacturers are identical.
If Netgear ore TP-Link ore other, all use old code.
Maybe someone can explain why.
Because Merlin,HGGomes and other use new release of modules, but Asus not. Why?
