Will asus wrt work on ax86s?

I've used ddwrt, tomato and open wrt before, but this is my first asus router. I saw on the website it works on the ax86u variant. Is That firmware compatible with the s variant aswell? Thanks
 
Asuswrt is the name of the firmware Asus uses for almost all of their routers.
