Will there be any problems flashing merlin to a Japanese Version of the AC68U?

Just as the title says, I want to make sure whether or not there would be a problem for this case before I even consider buying it locally instead of ordering through Amazon.

We have forum members from all over the world flashing Merlin on locally bought routers. But if you buy online, you would have the right to return it if, for whatever reason, you weren’t happy? Of course, you’d have to flash back to Asus stock firmware to make sure you return it in its original state.

My firmware won't care which region is used by the router. However make sure you will use the router in the region originally intended, otherwise you will have problems connecting with some clients, in addition of being potentially in violation of your local laws.
