Win7 vs DGL4300

ArneAnd

New Around Here
After a crashing on of my HD's, Ive taken the step from XP to Win7 Pro 64bit.

After the upgrade my Win7 machine only connects to my Dlink DGL 4300 wireless router with a 100Mbits connection, not the Gig as it used to.

My PC has an old Asus Maximus Formula MB with 2x1Gig NICs from Marvell
The Eth cabel is a cat 5e, 1 meter long. Same as before upgrade

Ive tried to upgrade the Marvel drivers, change from Auto neg in Windows to 1000Mbits Full duplex, change from port 1 to port 2 on my PC, upgrade the Firmware of the router......but no luck in getting it to connect on 1Gig.

Any ideas how to fix this??

Update:
Asked Dlink support for help, and they replied:
Try resetting, if that fails you can get a refund if you purchased it less than two years ago.....Great support, nice going Dlink. Guess this was my last Dlink product.

No fix, but I manage 2 house with DGL-4100's, and they are both working perfect at 1Gb speeds with Vista and Windoze 7.

I'm using an Asus P5Q Deluxe socket 775 motherboard (similar to the Maximus II Formula); it also features two Marvell network interfaces. For completeness sake my interfaces are shown as Marvell Yukon 88E8056 (PCI-E) and Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 (PCI).

I also had to do some investigating after encountering two different problems. I couldn't seem to get WOL (Wake On LAN) working, and I wanted to try the port aggregation feature after the purchase of a managed switch.

I found that simply installing the 'Network Control Utility for Aggregation and VLANs in x86 & x64 XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008' (dated 5/14/10 version 11.12.6.3) package from the Marvell site completely solved both problems.

The default (Microsoft installed, updated) drivers in Windows 7 definitely didn't seem to support WOL correctly.

And I definitely have 1Gbps connection speed on either interface now (2Gbps in total for aggregation).
