Wired Wi-Fi Extender

Hello everyone,

I just installed a smart Irrigation controller, which operates on just 2.4Ghz. My Spectrum Router is a mesh Wi-Fi. After days on the phone, Spectrum Re-Booted the router and I could connect. Problem is controller is in garage with nothing but walls, So I really think a wired extender would solve the signal problem staying connected all the time. Any and all advice, suggestions is more than appreciated.

Wired extender? You mean you want to run a cable to the garage and then place a WiFi AP in there?
Almost anything would do if it's only for that single device, no need wasting a lot of money on something fancy.
