New Around Here
I have 2 Asus routers with the primary router running Asuswrt and the secondary router connected behind the primary running Merlin running an OpenVPN client and DNS-over-TLS.
For different reasons, I want to continue running Asuswrt on the primary but would like DNS over TLS. I am looking at doing this by disabling the firewall on the secondary router and using the IP address of the secondary router as the DNS IP on the primary router. In my estimation, this will route all DNS requests to the DNS-over-TLS client running on the secondary router.
Is this a viable option? Any other alternatives?
Thanks.
