I’m just one more data point, but I’m reasonably happy with my BT10s. I got a 3 pack from Amazon Resale (for £570, opened box but perfect condition, I guess a return), I’m not sure I’d be quite as happy if I’d have paid RRP.
I mainly got them for the improved wireless backhaul. Running Ethernet in my property would be challenging and at this moment, I don’t have the time or energy, but I did want to be able to achieve 500mbps from my upstairs office. The wireless backhaul has been rock solid so far, and never blips below 500mbps in Internet speed tests. I can’t speak for total throughput like the reviewers do in their tests but it’s fast enough for me.
However, I’ve had to disable WiFi 6E mode on my iPhone 16 (effectively disabling 6ghz) because it doesn’t roam between the APs properly and often hangs. I pondered a return but other than this I’ve been happy, and the 5ghz still maxes out my internet connection no matter where I am in the house with the 6ghz and MLO backhaul. There’s a beta firmware for the BT8 to improve iPhone reliability, maybe the BT10 will see it one day but even if not, I’m good.
The other features are well worth while, and give me a lot more control over my network than my Eero Pro 5s did. Plus, no constant nagging for a subscription! I used to get about 150mbps from my office previously, so definitely notice the difference there, and throughout the house.
