Wrong certificate asuscomm.com

Concerning from a security standpoint but not sure how to track it down.

I have my Asus router ddns using dnsomatic. Using non-wildcard certs for all my exposed hosts generated via NPM and Let's Encrypt DNS challenge.

All has been working fine for a couple years now.

One thing I host is opencloud on my Nas. On my windows machine I use the app that syncs my local doc folder (basically like the Google drive or dropbox windows application).

Today the app was open with a warning about a mismatched certificate.

It was a domain like mcdonaldsfarm.asuscomm.com. My domain is a personal one - not asuscomm.com.

Nameserver site looks fine. Not seeing anything in the NPM logs that stands out more than normal bot attempts. Can't figure out what this means.

My only thought is that there was a period where I had external IP 123 but then my ISP reassigned it and a cache issue somewhere crossed the domains/ssl.

Ideas?
