Hi I bought a new router last Wednesday and install a Merlin firmware, and I notice that it consumes so much resources. I do a reboot in the morning and I have 83% ram used ,8h later I have 94%, it's normal?
Thanks

Realized one of my 86Us is close to the bar. Went to check right away. o_O

The moment you start file transfers your memory use will jump to 95%. Cache and buffers.

You're right, I'm do a test with my hdd and the ram goes up. Ok and now, after finishing use hdd, do I need reboot router to update the ram?

^^^ Ditto, Linux typically uses most "unused" pRAM for it's OS buffers and cache. They figure, it's sitting there, use it. It will give it back if a process needs it. Now if you see a process constantly growing larger and larger ... that's a memory-leak worry. Peace.
