I was part of the 2015 OPM breach which was a huge security & privacy threat. Among many things we had to do was, one was lock your credit reports at
all bureau's. If it's not anybody can scrape that data and target you. In 2 weeks after freezing mine, no junk mail, zilch. Hopefully that holds going forward.
