I've been running a AiMesh system with a RT-BE96U as the router with two ZenWiFi BT10s and one ET8 as the nodes without issue for about a year now.
Today I changed the ET8 to a BT8 and started having issues. The BT8 works fine for a little bit then all of a sudden drops all clients. After a while clients will reconnect, and things will be fine again. It then proceeds to drop clients again after a short time. And it continues in this cycle.
I've also noticed that while the clients are connected total client count is correct. When the BT8 drops client's total client count continues to rise and is really all over the place until they reconnect, then it shows the correct count again.
I realize the connection to the BT8 is weak, but the weak signal was never an issue with the ET8. I will be hardwiring the node as soon as I have time.
