Zenwifi XT8 (v1) drops wan every 30 mins

I have the same problem with two zenwifi xt9 devices I recently bought. Will open a new issue, but so that you know.
Aimesh node upstairs has my sons computer wired to it. Because of the gaming he notices dropping connections right away. Every 20-30 minutes his game slows down or he is disconnected. Can't finf anything in the logs on the aimesh master, and can't find the log on the node.

I contacted Asus support. I told them what was happening, they didn't bother troubleshooting. They just sent me an RMA form lol

but will a new unit solve the problem? If it's a firmware thing it won't?
