ZenWiFi XT9 - can't access local network when connected to node

New Around Here
Afternoon all,

Hoping someone can help solve my issue. I have two ZenWifi XT9's - when I set them up (one as the main unit in the living room, one as an AIMesh node connected by ethernet, in the loft) I get great WiFi coverage, but with one huge issue. I can no longer access my local network if I'm connected to the node. This means I cannot access my Home Assistant instance for instance.

Not sure if it's relevant but we have BT Fibre, so that's plugged into the XT9 in the living room.

Should I be able to access my local network when connected to the AIMesh node? If so, any suggestions on what may be causing the issue?

Huge thanks for support and insights!

Yes, wired AiMesh Node is an Access Point. In default configuration it broadcasts the main network just like the Router connected to BT. You can also propagate 2x Guest Networks to the Node. Make sure your client connected to the Node is not on a Guest Network.
