FixRelease Update-10E1

I just put up Update-10E1 into the FixRelease download at
http://1drv.ms/1xeeBvS

This corrects a formatting problem with the VPN Server Details page that causes options for both PPP and OpenVPN to be displayed. This is cosmetic problem only and an update is not required unless you are setting up a VPN Server for the first time (existing servers will continue to operate normally).

On the base Update-10 you can workaround the problem by toggling the server type to PPTP (and back if you wish to use OpenVPN).

Sorry for the problem.

Thx John, for the quick -10E1.
I'll try it when back at home.

Sure this IE scaling fix doesn't give any other problems?
Who uses IE anyway? :D

Uhhh....I do....the lesser of the evils for me.....

And I need the scaling.....I sometimes jump over from my Home Theater PC to check on the syslog when I'm running a new level....and I need to scale it up for my tired eyes :)

WOW! Cool!
A question of regions and time zones of Russia settled in Moscow was +4 was +3 GMT?

Edit:
My question is that before Russia, Moscow was in time zone +4 GMT, now it is +3 time zone GMT. This is fixed in the current version of the firmware?

Well, I went back to my -09Y version.
With -10 my "VPN Details" page is messed up seriously.
It looks like it is trying to display the page twice or something.
I also see VPN IP ranges I don't use.

Am I alone with this?
Mine looks fine, I cannot get it to misbehave like it did before.

Ah, that's what you mean. On second look it seems a bit weird in firefox. But it runs and I don't need to change config so I am not going to bother with another update.

Kids will get upset and wife too. If tv goes dead no one moans, but law and behold if the internet goes down here :D :D :D

Hey john,
I just wanted to say thanks and also coming from version 8 to 10 I see the cpu temps decreasing to 76 from 80 celsius. I don't know why I was having 80 degrees all the time with version 8, so this is a very nice update, for me at least! Thanks again and keep up the awesome work!

Ummm.....no idea on this one....the router gnomes must have been at work :)

I think, that my friend means, that in magic country Russia the GMT was very floating last years. The old one standard was +4 GMT, the latest and the greatest is +3. I think this young man asking about, what is default right now for Russia in this firmware?

Setting DST manually is the only way to go.
If you use Parental control you still need to do a router reboot.
Even with a correct DST not all router processes start using the correct time. :(

I recommend a reboot if you use Parental control.
DST is nice, but sucks on all kind of hardware with a clock.

I am using V10 of the fork and noticed a minor issue with the wireless log. For 5GHz wireless I am using channels 149 and 151. Channel 149 is displayed 1491. Channel 151 displays correctly as the extension channel. Same display with firefox and IE11. My router is a RT-N66

Are you sure it's a '1' and not an 'l' (small letter 'L'). Sometimes the driver will append a letter to the channel based on the bandwidth of the connection (and no, I don't know all the rules for that :) ).

You are right the l and 1 are almost identical in the display....you learn something new every day!

Sorry, how to set up your own manually correct time zone and location?
