All the wireless configurations are so complicated to me.Is it possiable for a router/repeater, plug in and work??

routers and repeaters (WDS) are usually different products.
Router setup for the usual residential user can be very simple. The top shelf brands have simple installation fold-out sheets. If you have ordinary cable modem or DSL, it's usually just 5 minutes following the simple steps in this quick setup guide which is a big foldout (usually), not a big manual.

Usually, Linksys has a good quick install guide.
We'll help you here too.

For the repeater... WDS... that's messy. Better to try to improve your WiFi coverage using products like HomePlug (very simple) and MoCA. We'll help you on this too.

Not quite plug and go.. because you need to choose a unique network ID (SSID) and encryption key/method to replace the factory defaults.

Auto setup now but if you use their own equipment or you could use other devices say WiFi Printer etc.. It's called WPS more about it below. Do note that if devices aren't WPS-compatible can be harder to join a network set up with WPS because the wireless network name and security key are randomly generated. WPS also doesn't support ad hoc wireless networking.

WPS
Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a wireless network setup solution that lets you automatically configure your wireless network, add new devices, and enable wireless security. Wireless routers, access points, USB adapters, printers, and all other wireless devices that have WPS capabilities can all be easily set up to communicate with each other, usually with just a push of the button.
