I'm testing out a Asus RT-AC66U, running v3.0.0.4.260 and I have some awkward issues regarding it's QoS.
Normally I disable QoS all together because it tends to bring more harm than anything to my network but people have claimed the RT-AC66U to have a very decent QoS system and the fact that it's spotting such powerful hardware one should be able to utilise QoS without loosing network speed.
All I have really done is activated automatic QoS with 120mbit down and 10mbit up speeds (exact same as my Internet connection) and nothing more. But whenever uTorrent is utilising more than 12MBps (96mbit) I can't access any webpage, access the router through internet browser or anyting, but I have connection as uTorrent keeps downloading, Skype keeps itself connected even though I can't seem to send or receive any messages or anything.
So it seems like the QoS simply kills of everything, it lets uTorrent do it's thing but the connection becomes utterly useless for anything else... Disabling the QoS and everything works perfect even when uTorrent is passing 14MBps.
Isn't this exactly the opposit of what QoS should do?
