Hi,

The client list in Network Map is empty;
Changing the System Log verbosity in the web GUI does nothing

One has nothing to do with the other.

Known issue for years.

What router do you have? What firmware are you running?

Does rebooting the router/network have any effect?

These are new problems for me. They relate to each other as both involve the web GUI.
Rebooting doesn't have any effect.
I have RT-AC68U. I just updated to 386.12_6. The problem started with 386.12_4.

I just cloned the hard drive I was using as DATA partition and replaced it with a USB thumb drive. I don't know if it was the trigger.

When was the last time you performed a full reset to your router and then minimally and manually configured to secure it and connect to your ISP?

Do not use a saved backup config file after you fully reset the router. Do not plug in any USB drives (particularly any that were used for amtm/scripts) while testing.

I want to avoid reconfiguring the router manually so the last time was when I installed it in 2022. After all these years of dealing with these issues people have not found the cause and resetting to factory settings is the only solution?
Sigh...

I found it. In my case it's a browser issue. It works with Brave but not Firefox. My first hypothesis is a too restrictive "referer" HTTP header. It's fresh in my memory that setting an empty referer will even lock you out of the web GUI.

Glad you solved an issue from Nov 2023 without needing to do a full reset.
