Connected client wrongly showed as STATIC

Hi all,
Asus AC68 running 380.69_2 here.
My issue is that in Network map I see a client connected with its local IP (via DHCP), with the badge STATIC. However no configuration has been provided on the router for its MAC, and nvram show | grep static does not show the involved MAC/IP address.
This client is connected through TAP VPN, could this somehow confuse the client list report?

Wait until the lease gets renewed. Until then, the router has no way of knowing that a previously allocated lease is actually a lease.

It has been for days in STATIC, like it had a configuration on my router.
Clearing npm_client_list did not solve.

Edit: waiting a little more after deleting npm_client_list did the trick!
