Download master not downloading on USB 3.0 drive.

I have a USB 3.0 drive hooked up to the usb 3.o port on my RT-AC68U. The router installed and runs download master without any problems, but as soon as I add a torrent file or magnet link, it drops the file and doesn't download anything. When I hook a usb 2.o drive to the 2.0 port, it works without any issues. The 2.0 is formatted to fat32 and 3.0 is formatted to ntfs. Could this be the issue?

Mine is running perfectly for more than 2 years. 1 TB WD Elements hdd ( formatted NTFS) connected to usb 3.0 port on my RT AC56U. The only time I have ever had issues was with an older firmware, so check for an updated firmware. I'm currently running Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.9529 which is very good and stable. I get stable 52R/40W MB/s speeds from my hdd. Very satisfied.
