I need help with a home network

The house will be 2000 sq ft and have three bedrooms. The connecting devices will be:

- 3x Smartphones
- 2x Desktops
- 1x PS4
- 2x Chromecast TVs
- 1x Google Home

We expect to have 100 mbps FIOS, but it would be nice to have a solution for up to 500mbps internet. I currently have this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704312 that I bought during black friday.

What wireless speeds should I expect? Will that router suffice or should I return it for something better? I was planning to wait for Google wifi to release, but the reviews make it seem less impressive than originally thought.

I would return it for an Asus RT-AC56U or better (like an RT-AC68U) Asus model with RMerlin firmware (or the forks thereof).

If you are lucky or can wait for a sale on the RT-AC56U, it can be had in the $50 range (probably less expensive and much better than the TP-Link model you have now).

if your house is only 2000 sq feet you certainly dont need mesh anything and even a standard wireless ac router should cover your house with ease

that link looks like a tplink archer c7 and should do fine in such a small house
